The PIRANHA KLUTCH from KARATA is the solution for high-horsepower and big-inch engines used in today’s radical custom bikes. KARATA'S PIRANHA KLUTCH chews up all other clutches. Featuring 1.000" more clutch stack height and more friction material than any other clutch on the market, PIRANHA is designed for Karata's 4.000" and 5.000" Intimidator®Series Belt Drives. KARATA'S PIRANHA KLUTCH will handle any of the big engines on the market, bar none. Even stock bikes and mild customs can benefit from the state-of-the-art PIRANHA KLUTCH design which delivers, smooth, consistent shifts every time. Two versions are available, the massive 26-plate PIRANHA and the tough 16-plate PIRANHA JR. For bikes with engines over 120-cubic inches, with or without turbos, superchargers or nitrous, the severe-duty PIRANHA is the ultimate clutch that bites back against slippage and delivers every horsepower straight into the ground. The PIRANHA JR. is recommended for motorcycles with engines smaller than 120-inches in any trim from ultra-high performance to the flash cruiser. Even STOCK MOTORCYCLES that accept 1990-1997 clutches are able to run the PIRANHA JR.

Both versions share KARATA’S high-tolerance machining, a billet steel hub, Kevlar clutch plates that can be run wet or dry and dedicated steels. All PIRANHA KLUTCHES feature a polished billet aluminum pressure plate and are fully tunable with KARATA’S proprietary clutch spring kits. Installation and service are made easy by PIRANHA’S brutally-strong yet simple design. As with all KARATA products, all individual components that make up both PIRANHA KLUTCHES are available separately to allow for maintenance and service over a lifetime of use.
